Blendtec - worth the money?

I really want to get one but it's around £300 is it worth that amount?

Also my dd drank a smoothie with kale and spinach in it which I would never be able to make her drink. I'm surprised that I actually really liked the taste of it too!

So what I want to know is:

Is it as good as its seems?

Do you use yours a lot?

Watching this thread! I have one (gift) and use it to make smoothies and blend soup. That's it. Never used it for anything else but that's probably more down to my lack of skills in kitchen than anything else. Hope someone adds loads of info/recipes/ideas!
