Have just returned from DM's house, where we spent the weekend, with the usual few pounds around the waist & memories of delicious food.
Have also returned with a lovely pork tenderloin fillet that we didn't eat over the weekend.
My usual recipes would be somewhat stodgy & carb rich, involving lots of mash! But we want to get ourselves back on track.
Consequently I am seeking healthy recipe inspiration from you lovely mumsnetters. I thought about a sesame/soy/ginger variation with lots of green veg, but the only ones I've found have been chock full of brown sugar & honey that won't shift the pounds! I'd welcome a similar but less sugary alternative, or something totally different.
Any ideas most welcome - for myself, DH & DS (2).
