Hi There,
Just wondered if anyone knew where I can buy a liitle table and chair set for my 18 mth ds who is fed up of his high chair and seems to crave independence. Any ideas/suggestions would be gratefully received!

Ikea have some lovely wooden ones in. I've just bought a plastic set from The Range - but don't know if that's just a midlands based chain!

Does your high chair pull up to the table? If not, and your DS wants to be part of the party at the table, why not look for a high chair, or booster, that can bring him up to eat at the table?

I got a wooden highchair from Kiddicare when DS was about 12 months old, the seat & footrest are adjustable, and the feeding tray comes off completely (we've never used it) so it can pull right up to the table, and be used like a booster seat. DS climbs in & out of it now by himself and has done for several months.

Thanks for you tips. Will look into it! Think highchair will adjust to a table but gain will investigate! Thanks

Health visitor suggested it but yes I know what you mean. Was willing to give it a go as thought it would be good as a craft table sort of thing too...

In B&Q they had a childrens pine dining set, a table and two bench seats with a back for £12.54. It was great and if you have the room it would be fantastic for craft etc.

Ds has a tripp trapp and has always sat at the big table with us.

Ive been wondering the same thing as my friend sits her dd at her own table (age 15 months). In Wilkinsons today i have seen a childs plastic chair and table for £6.

Would definitely recommend getting a high chair/booster chair at the table in preference to own table.
