Salmon - use by 10 Nov, would you have it for supper?

I forgot about some salmon in the fridge, it's use by date was the 10th, would you still have it for supper tonight? I don't usually take much notice of use by dates, except with meat or fish. It looks fine, it's in that shrink wrap stuff, and it's been at the back of the fridge (coldest part). What do you reckon? Obviously if it smells rank I won't risk it, but i won't be able to tell that until I open it, DH has a more sensitive stomach than mine (cast iron).

I'd give it a good sniff, and if it seems OK, I'd cook and eat it. Maybe feed the husband a little in advance, and wait to see if he's ill or not? If he is, you know not to eat it ;) Sorry, couldn't resist - but seriously, I'd probably eat it if is wasn't smelly or slimy.

No I wouldn't eat it. I don't eat fish past its sell by date - but that might be overly cautious of me I don't know.

We had it and it was fine, no dodgy belly's today! I think it helped that it was at the back of the fridge, almost frozen.
