Home made chocolates - how long do they keep?

Well not really home made. My plan is to melt nice quality chocolate, pour into mini snowman moulds and set, thus creating home made little snowmen. A block of chocolate has a really long sell by date, will this change if I melt it?

No reason why the sell by date (or use by date) should change from melting and re-setting.

The only difference would be if you added something - e.g. cream or butter.
