i fancy baking something almondy...

has anyone got a good recipe - ideally something I can freeze, but not essential. thanks y'all.

ALMOND SQUARES


10oz s/r flour
2 tsp baking powder
8 oz soften butter
5 beaten eggs
zest of orange 2 tbsps orange juice
3 0z ground almonds
2 0z flaked almonds


Put everything in a bowl except for the flaked almonds. Beat together with electric whisk or wooden spoon.

Spoon the mixture into a greased square 12 x 7 (or whatever you have tbh) tin. Smooth the top with a palette knife and sprinkle on the flaked almonds. Bake at 180c for about 25-30 mins. Leave to cool then cut.

Not a recipe per se - a friend of mine made a beautiful Bakewell tart the other day, but instead of jam, she substituted fresh raspberries. Very yum.
