Having 8 people round for dinner tonight and I've done Jamie Oliver's Beef in Ale recipe but, following the comments about it, used an ale rather than Guiness - as he suggests.
However, on tasting it last night, it has a bitter aftertaste.
Any ideas on how to get rid of that? Would sugar or garlic do it?
Ironically, I've woken up today with a blocked head and loss of smell and taste so slightly concerned it'll all taste like metal to me!!!!
