Chaotic breakfast time!

I am a student at northumbria university and I want to do a project on 'family breakfasts'. Growing up our breakfast routine was always chaotic. I want you guys to tell me what breakfast is like for you! What it means to you and what your routine is and i want to know everything, the good the bad, and the ugly. Even if you just want to rant about not having enough time or your 3 year old getting jam in your hair! :)

School days breakfast is simple and quick but not chaotic. Rule is for kids to be sat down eating by 7:45am which gives them plenty of time to finish. Any later, no breakfast (my kids like breakfast and this never happens). Food is just breakfast cereal, dried fruit, milk or toast and jam or honey, or both. Drinks are fruit juice or milk. The kids pretend to sit nicely but actually kick each other under the table constantly. I pretend not to notice and drink lots of tea. Weekends breakfast is later and DS loves a bacon sandwich or omelette, DD likes a boiled egg and soldiers. We decide what to do for the day as well. I enjoy breakfast and the kids do too.
