BBQ Posh Nosh - any ideas?

Weather permitting we are having a bbq this weekend for 14 + children for a bday.

Am thinking yoghurty lamb as one dish (butterflied leg with mint, cumin and yoghurt marinated for as long as possible Grin) but as the butcher has pointed out we either do 2 for that amount (am doing basics for children as they are little - so prob sausages!) which we could do but am thinking that it might be nice to have a little of 2 things than too much of one.

We have no veggies coming so don't really want that option as we shall have some hearty salads (peston and rice ala delia yum) and a bit of greenery and possibly something with feta in not sure......we like cheese Grin.

What we want is something that can be left on the bbq whilst we socialise with our mates so am thinking another hunk of meat/chicken but not kebabs (unless v interesting!)

So all I can think of is some kind of big bit of beef, but fillet is too ££££ and am not sure of what else to think of. I don't mind it costing a little bit but don't want to be left with too much over iyswim. Any ideas that aren't too pricey but look posh?
TIA

Brisket is an American barbecue classic (although American barbecue is long and slow cooked in a smoker rather than burnt on a British barbecue). It doesn't look posh but tastes great.

Or you could do a sticky belly pork which gets finished off on the barbecue (for example this recipe.

Ooh, that sticky pork belly looks great - do you think it would work with ribs, have some in the freezer which we have been hankering to try. Brilliant, forgot about them until you showed me that! Grin

I'm sure it would work with ribs too.
