Cabbage, cabbage everywhere ...

I desperately need some ideas for what to do with the stuff! I have a bit of a glut as it keeps arriving in my veg box. In the winter I just add it to stews and curries, but I don't feel like eating that sort of food in this weather. We don't really go in for meat and two veg so just having it on the side is not a great solution (although if it were dressed interestingly I'd consider it!)

What do you all do with cabbage?

i love it with carraway seeds, blanch it for about thirty seconds then sautee in butter and sprinkle with carraway seeds, not exactly what you want though.

Coleslaw? shred finely with carrot and onion and add mayo and white wine vinegar?

how about shredding it to add to pittas with other salady stuff and some chicken tikka?

bet someone else will be along soon with good ideas!

Thanks storm! I like the caraway seeds idea particularly.
