Is there anything I can do? will they freeze? Or do I just feed them to the birds?

and what about tinned sweetcorn (taken out of the tin and heated once already). Are the birds just having a massive christmnas feast?

Mush them up, mix them with mashed potato - make into 'patties' lightly coat in flour and fry them :)

You can put them into pitta breads (like falafel) with sour cream and salad and cheese. Yummy!

I freeze it and pad out a sausage and mash meal with them. They freeze pretty well. There's only four of us so I make a pick pack and freeze half for next time.

Make a tomato sauce, cook some spaghetti, eat the lot!

Add a few sausages and pour Yorkshire pudding over to make a posh Toad in the Hole.
