My dd (11 months) enjoys baby friendly versions of veg korma, sweet and sour chicken and Thai green curry. I was lucky to find a baby weaning Book with adventurous recipes.

My dn aged 5 likes olives and feta cheese.

My dcs eat the same as we do, always have (minus salt when very little)

We are a very multicultural family so their taste is quite wide from pizza to fondue via kebabs, curry an couscousSmile

DS likes couscous, DD likes hot smoked salmon. Both have loved garlic bread from an early age. Not tried them with olives because I don't like them

Mine have eaten spices etc from a v young age. Once in one of those 'posh oil' shops, they were tasting all of the pickled chillis, hot sauces etc and the shopkeeper warned us to be careful as they were hot: the dds just kept demanding the next heat level!

They'll happily eat chilli, curry, olives etc etc - unfortunately neither will eat mushrooms and dd1 won't eat cheese! And they are veggoe, so the cheese thing is a pain.

My DD loves cabbage. She will eat any veg raw whilst i'm chopping too.

I was a fussy eater as a kid so I know how lucky i am she eats everything we eat.

Ds age 2.3 is a pretty fussy eater, but loves spicy curry, and spicy pasta sauce with parmesan cheese as long as there's no lumps in it.
And smoked fish.

Anything at all bread-like is a hit - he ate two slices of garlic bread from under my dad's nose (Dad thought it was safe!), and falafels are good too.

My 2yo likes to unwind at the end of the day with a whiskey and soda.

DD went mad for Christmas cake, Christmas pudding and mince pies at 11 months old. I was amazed, they're quite heavy tastes and I don't like the first two.

both dcs like curry, couscous and smoked salmon. On holiday ds had fried whitebait which I was quite Shock about. He's normally quite picky about food.

Mine eat just about anything. They love curries of all sorts, the eldest will eat a vindaloo. (He is 14 though) They also love shellfish, especially prawns and including oysters and smoked salmon, plus all sorts of cheese including brie and stilton and olives, their favourites being the anchovy filled ones. The older two also love rare steak.

We eat quite a ramge of foods ourselves and they have always liked trying new things.

8y DD eats whatever we eat and has done from being tiny.

Her current favourites inlude salami and chorizo type meats, olives, chicken Balti, ham pesto and mozzerella paninis, mussels, amongst others.

Most importantly she is willing to try anything at least once - she has tried alligator and snails for example;

and will persevere with foods - that's why she now likes olives.

And she is the only on in her class who eats the sprouts served up with school dinners- she loves them!

DS ate octopus in a tapas bar on holiday once Grin He was 11 months old at the time...

He used to love samosas but now he just eats the crispy bits on the corners and proclaims the rest to be "Yuck. Too bicey." (spicy - used not only for spicy foods but also sour, bitter, bitty... anything he doesn't like really!)

I feel very cheated by all these children who will eat everything - I did BLW with DS and he used to try anything, but he went through a fussy patch at around 16 months and now eats nothing unless it's a fruit, vegetable, or covered in bright orange breadcrumbs :(

I don't understand what "adult" food is...

Ours eat whatever we eat. Would steak count as adult? We do get funny looks when our 3yo has blood running down her chin :)

DD1 did really embarrass me by loudly demanding sushi the other day Blush - she likes it because it is circle food, not because of any kind of brilliant upbringing :)
