Saw this last night and thought it was just brilliant. Left me feeling all soppy.

What do you make of the end though - what happens now?!

I agree it was a fab film. I assumed that they got together.....I did worry about his wife and child a bit though...only a bit as I'd been completely bowled over by their love/sadness/yearning etc

It was very intense (oh and so French!!)

I didn't assume he would just leave his son though, given how he had spoken about him. What an awful position to be in though... the pragmatic bit of me does think "well, that's silly, they barely know each other" but the romantic bit of me thinks "ooh, go on, go on, have a snog!!"

Oh don't tell me the ending, I was going to go watch when its out on DVD. Is it the sequel to Before Sunrise with Ethan Hawke? Its supposed to be a bit autobiographical since about how he has changed over the last few years with breaking up with Uma and everything. Don't tell me too much about the ending!

I thought it was great as well, and I hadn't even seen the original. Loved the fact that the film took place in "real time" and am now desparate to visit Paris again.

just saw this -- it is a bit of a brainworm. can't stop thinking about it.
i enjoyed it much more than part 1, even though they're both pretty irritating characters (esp her -- though she was lovely too at the end, doing her nina simone impression). but oh GOD, it is so depressing, to see how they've grown up and all the innocence has rubbed off. it did feel very real. and IMO yes, he's going to miss his plane and it's destiny and oh dear what will happen with his family.
i did love the way it dealt with those unresolved relationships that splutter out but kind of haunt you forever
