Sing Street (produced by Weinstein though, not that that stops me enjoying it, but it's good to know).

I watched the fundamentals of caring the other night thinking I'd be asleep 10mins in but was pleasantly surprised that it was quite good

What kinda film you looking for, what do you like?

About Time - is back on, love that film.

What we did on our holiday.

Both sweet but you'll need tissues.

Deadpool is good, funny and quite meta.

Milk - about Harvey milk, fascinating film.

Breakfast club, back to the future, war games and other 80's classics.

Dallas buyers club - powerful and thought provoking.

Network - for an old film is frighteningly relevant!

Les miserables - exhausting but fab.

Some like it hot - Golden oldie. There's others too.

Jaws - more insightful than I remembered, in terms of exploring masculinity etc

Identity - hard to explain without spoiling. Excellent psychological thriller, John cusack as watchable as ever.

Misery - tension abounds plus a good few wince inducing scenes, powerful performances.

The abyss - bit dated but still intriguing.

The next 3 days - superb thriller

Which reminds me of

3 days to kill - another thriller starring Kevin Costner as an action hero but also an absent dysfunctional husband and father - won't say more than that but it's good and I kinda discovered it by accident. Don't think it's had much publicity.

127 hours - dd and I ended up seeing this by pure accident when it was on at cinema (film we'd gone to see had sold out can't even remember what now) just amazing!

Cargo with Martin Freeman on Netflix. It's a sort of Zombie Film, but very different from the usual ones. Much more thoughtful. I cried loads at the end.
