Anyone seen this? Russian film with subtitles - brilliant but very bleak

It looks great, but I wasn't sure if it was too depressing for me! I'm very sensitive about anything involving children getting hurt! How bleak is it?

There are heartbreaking moments, particularly one early on but the disintegration of the family at the heart of the story is set against a backdrop of Moscow and the filmmaker is clearly commenting on Russia too - I believe it is shortlisted for best foreign film at this year's Oscars. It really is worth seeing.

Saw it tonight, beautifully filmed, depressing definitely but well worth watching! Long lingering camera shots
