So watched this today. Really enjoyed it, thought brad Pitt was strong on it, but don't car much for the wife and kids.

What did everyone else think?

Thought the ending was really good - glad it ended with a "realistic" ending where they didn't find a cure but a camouflage instead, realy original.

I may be wrong, having read the book a good few months ago, but there were huge parts of this film I did not recognise. I think it is very loosely based on the book.
I seem to remember the UN guy spending a lot of time in a submarine and he didn't have a wife a kids?

Having said that I did enjoy the film, Brad was channeling his hot Kurt Cobain look and it was really jumpy, I properly jumped out of my seat a few times. I thought it was good that the gore was quite limited too as in the book the descriptions are quite graphic.

I thought it was brilliant. Going to see it again in 3D. I didn't first time as I was worried it would be too gory. Not a fan of excessive gore.

The first bit in Philadelphia literally had my heart pounding. How quickly the zombies were turned amongst all those people. I found myself counting 12 seconds one after the other as I walked home to see how many people would be turned in the time I walked home. I live in London so it was quite Shock.

Love Brad, always have, always will Grin. Think he was perfect in it, not at all over excitable, a dignified action hero!

Lots of footage not used. My friend was an extra for filming that took a long time in London, photo with Brad on her FB Envy and none of that was used.

Great movie imo.

I really enjoyed it too! I heard its got pretty mixed reviews, I'm guessing because its so different to the book, but as a stand alone film I thought it was really good.

I also understand its to be the first of a trilogy which is a exciting!

I found the beginning part in Philadelphia disturbing but as the film progressed I found myself much less concerned about his family and more interested in the origin of the virus / a cure.

I didn't know it was a trilogy. That's good news. I hope it performs well enough or them to continue making them and that Bradders is in all!
