Women's Physical Health Check before No2

Hey! Newbie here! And my first post!

I'm a mum to a 3 year old girl and there are currently no plans for another, but I do want to consider trying again at some point in the future.

I'm 35, had an uncomplicated pregnancy, vaginal birth. Only complication was that my placenta got stuck and I had to have it removed via spinal block after a long wait.

My problems happened after birth. From around 4 months, my body just wanted to shut down. I had aching joints (all over but mainly through my legs), aches and pains, muscle fatigue, low moods, extreme exhaustion (and not just from sleep deprivation). I saw my GP, had a positive ANA blood test and was referred to a rheumatologist. After over a year of tests, they came up with nothing. And around October 2018 the symptoms stopped (2 years after birth).

I have no answers, have been 'symptom free' since 2018, and do not want to go through anything like that ever again!

Has anyone been through similar? Had another baby without or with the same physical problems? And could anyone recommend where I could go to get a full female physical health check in London? (Is this a thing!?)

Thanks!Smile

Did you breastfeed and did stopping breastfeeding coincide with your symptoms stopping?
