Is the depo making me crazy

I was late for my depo a few weeks ago, couldn't get in with the nurse for 3 weeks. In those 3 weeks I felt so much more calmer and relaxed not so edgy shall we say. Also had a sex drive back (although didn't do it as no contraception) it's been 24 hours since I've had the injection. And my mood has been commented on today by my partner and I have noticed a change in it my self.

Am I just being moody or can this happen?

I suppose it effects everyone differently OP but I had the drop and hated it! I felt very low, gained weight, skin became terrible.. it was awful and I only made the connection after I'd had the second injection.

Could you let this one run its course and try alt contraception for a while afterwards to see if you feel a difference?
