Looking to change from the pill - any advice?

Hi, I hope I can get some advice. I am looking to change from the pill to another method. I just keep forgetting to take it. What do you girls use? I am debating between the injection and the coil? Any pros and cons I should know about?
Thank you!

injection can affect return to fertility so if you want a baby in the future you need to be aware of it. There is a tendency to put weight on with it too. I bled all the time and put on loads of weight so only had 2 jabs.

Had mirena coil for 5 years and it stopped my periods completely

Have you heard about Natural Cycles? A big pro is that it is hormone free but you do need to get into a rhythm of measuring everyday. It also has a fail rate, like most contraceptions, so that’s something to weigh up too Smile

I'm a fan of Mirena and am on my third since finishing my family

Its ideal (for most) if you've already had children (or don't want them) but less suitable if you are looking for a short te solution before starting a family. I believe it is also more painful to have one put in if you haven't previously given birth

For long term contraception you can't beat the implant. Three years of no worries, and you don't have to remember anything. Your GP can insert it under the skin of your arm - doesn't hurt any more than a small injection.

I know several people who had problems with the implant - bleeding and depression were a couple of side effects.
