Copper Coil and bleeding??

Hi I'm new here and this is my first post. Sorry for it being a rather negative one. Wondered if anyone else has experienced this? I had a copper coil fitted about 10 weeks ago and instantly had a period from hell. TMI but it was pouring and I had clots the size of the palm of my hand. I flooded through my clothes for 3 days then it eased off but the whole period lasted about 2weeks. The next period arrived and was so unbelievably heavy I genuinely felt like I would die! I couldn't find a towel big enough to last more than 15 mins without blood running down my legs. After 5 days of ginormous clots and horrific flooding the coil came out on its own which was followed by massive bleeding. I contacted the clinic to be told to go to gp who then told me to go back to go back to clinic who said they couldn't see me for a fortnight, which is next Wednesday! I've been bleeding now for 3 weeks from start of this period with intermittent clots. It's driving me insane! But nobody seems concerned and nobody is in any kind of rush to see me either. Is this something worrisome? Or did it just not agree with me? Ps I'm a mum of 3 aged 8, 7 and 2 and I'm 30 years old, non smoker, non drinker and before this coil I had regular slightly heavy (nothing terrible) periods which lasted about a week.
Thanks in advance 😊

Never mind, I'm going to A&E now anyway as I can't control the bleeding.
