Just wondering if these are available anymore? I tried a diaphragm a few years ago but was uncomfortable for both me and DH. Plus not sure if the gel suited me. I know you would still need to use the spermicide gel with a cap but would it overall be a better 'fit'?

Hi... I used a diaphragm in past... gto a new one fitted and uncomfortable. Have bought a new caya diaphragm and love it . I bought from amazon and took to fpc clinic to check fitted..its great. Nurse said they were meant to have them in stock now (London ) but not in as yet so you could call first - would save the 40£ I paid for mine
allergic to non oxy 9 in gel they use (it irritates self and partner) so we buy contragel also through Amazon and like it - no smell either

I would be wary of cap efficacy. Apparently it's up to 20% failure in 1 year. Diaphragm around 15%, but 6% if used properly with spermicide each time. Hope helps
