I'm breastfeeding so on cerezette have been for a few years due to migraines. After sex last night I have been pink spotting and getting period pains/cramps :( I've googled now terrified its cervical cancer :0 I also suffer anxiety so this could be y I'm freaking out. Anyone else had these symptoms with cerezette before? Sure I'm not pregnant as I've not missed any and I'm still exclusively breasteeding

Yes I had spotting and period pain on cerazette. Freaked out too and convinced myself i had cervical cancer. Saw my gp next day who said it happens sometimes as your body can take over occasionally and you will have a period of sorts. As long as bleeding does not last more than normal period and isn't heavier he said it's ok. I would ring/see gp for your peace of mind/to be sure but hope the above allays your fears a bit

I had really terrible anxiety on Cerazette which stopped soon as I stopped it.

A bit of bleeding and cramp after sex isn't unusual and you're supposed to get some bleeding which may include spotting (I didn't) with Cerazette. The stress of Christmas could easily affect your cycle enough to trigger it.

Thank you I had a smear today and the nurse said there was a little blood which could explain the cramps and the reason I'm feeling like that and sporting could be hormonal from breastfeeding aswell. Feel a but better now , I've had PND aswell so this heightened my anxiety :(

Sorry to hear that xmas fun. Hope 2013 will be a good year for you and your family. I am going to add "try to be less anxious" to my ny resolutions as
I do a lot of unproductive worry and I know I would he happier if I got better control of it.
