I'm finding mine are horrendously busy in the lead up to Christmas:

I've got -

This weekend - dd1 doing the ballet awards in Watford.
Next weekend - dd2 gym comp in Bristol
Mid Nov - Dd1 gym comp in Wiltshire
Early Dec - DD2 gym comp in Plymouth
End Dec - Xmas display.

Both girls have got dancing exams after Christmas, so are taking on extra lessons to prepare them. One daughter or the other does ballet or gym every Saturday from 9 am to 4pm until the exams. There's lots of breaks inbetween, but that only means lots of hanging around for me.

I don't know when I'm going to fit in my Christmas shopping!

My two are busy practising for the music festival, in three weeks. DD1 (just turned 8) is doing ten classes, and DD2 (aged 5) is doing the Recorder Solo, 8 & under. DD1 also has a flute exam in the next 6 weeks or so. Both do ballet once a week, the younger one has swimming lessons, and the older one does school choir, band and country dancing clubs, which are all free HOORAY! DD2 has asked to join the band, and the teacher has agreed to let her try out after half term. How sweet!

I am having a lull with work at the moment, but will get very busy after half term... countless carol services, concerts etc, 7 pupils doing exams (most are very secure, fortunately), music festival, special assemblies, etc etc.
