Any piano teachers out there? What should I do/not do with a toddler who loves his keyboard.

DS has just turned 2 and loves music so I bought him a keyboard. He's spent a couple of days now trying to pick out tunes. He obviously adores it so is there anything I could show him/ encourage him to do that will either give him a quick win or help with long term skills if he continues to love it?

I don't play piano so have no idea where to start, and of course he could lose all interest in music in a months time, but any tips would be very welcome for us to enjoy it together.

At this age I put different coloured stickers on the white keys, and then colour coded simple nursery rhyme sheet music that I printed off the internet.

So yellow on the music, press yellow on the keyboard plays E for example.

My ds would start plodding the music, then realised very quickly if he played them faster he recognised the tunes.

Caveat I'm no piano teacher, I have limited musical knowledge myself, but a few years on my ds is now studying piano at RCM.
