can you recycle cds?

have loads (30 odd) of old computer cds. does anyone know any way we can recycle them rather than bin them? am in north london

I've seen people string them across veg plots and allotments as bird scarers, but that's about all as far as I know!

Yes, there are a couple firms that recycle CDs. Most government offices now have bins for them (plus ones for mobiles and batteries) so you could try your nearest one?
