Good, fast dissolving toilet roll

Flicketyflack · 14/12/2019 16:10

Out toilet is susceptible to blocking and I want to be more environmentally considerate.

What toilet rolls would you recommend that are ok to use without falling apart and also dissolve quickly in toilet.

Thanks all

I switched to buying the 'who gives a crap' bamboo bog rolls a few months ago. Would recommend.

I wash myself with water. Perhaps see how much a bidet or special shower attrachment would cost go install in ur loo - for us it worked out a lot cheaper than buying toilet roll.

We use a basic supermarket one (waitrose essential) it seems to fall apart pretty readily when flushed... haven’t had any blocking even when DD age 3 went through her use half a loo roll phase. I reckon any basic non luxury non quilted one should be ok.

I have a link which gives £5 off a bulk order box from who gives a crap

https://www.talkable.com/x/vd8DZP

Please note that if use this you get £5 off and I then also get £5 off my next order.

We also use whogivesacrap - order then online and get double sized rolls.

I would second ‘who gives a crap’ but prefer the standard to bamboo rolls

And Whogivesacrap individually wrap each roll in coloured paper with a few "emergency rolls" in red

Good, fast dissolving toilet roll

I don’t know who HACKSOL is or what happened to your link, Ronaldjack, but that link is nothing to do with loo roll. Don’t click on it, people. Bit odd.

We’ve just stopped using WGAC, the quality wasn’t that great, we found, but we had no problems with paper dissolving properly.
Anyone tried Cheeky Panda?

I like who gives a craps packaging, but ultimately it's just more waste.

Yes, I use Cheeky Panda. No problem with the dissolving so far & also minimal packaging.

We've tried WGAC and from here: www.bumboo.eco/

I think the former works out cheaper, but the latter is 'better', so less needed. Haven't done a scientific comparison, but have tried both, and will probably try another box of the bumboo to see how long it lasts compared to WGAC.

The toilet roll that is sold to be used in caravans/boats degrades quickly
