Crockery, glasses, toys, all to give away, what shops/organisations will take them?

I have lots of books, an entire crockery set that is white but has lots of grey marks on it from cutlery, toys, glassware.

I also bought a metal bed for my son he hasn't had it more than 2 year and I have never been happy with it, he looses the pillow through the headboard bars and it has a metal lip that holds the matress in place that I don't like my younger son sliding over to get down off the bed. Who would take that?

Previously I have donated to Salvation army -but they take weeks to collect stuff -so I had a fridge, freezer, sofas etc clogging up the boys playroom. grrrr.

Who else is there?

Have you tried offering it on Freecycle?
