Insulation ideas?

Hi does anyone know any thing about insulation?

Is Interior or exterior insulation best?
Does it matter?

And while we are discussing it is render better or wood cladding?

you could contact your local council and they will advise you on the new government scheme to help people increase the amount of insulation in their homes. Friends have just had wall insulation and thicker loft insulation put into their 5 bed home for only a couple of hundred pounds, as it's partly funded by the gov, which seems quite reasonable for such a large house. I'm sure they'd be able to advise on the cladding question too.

Thanks - it is for a commercial building so I think it will be a bit different - but I'll have a look
