Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good no win no fee employment lawyer? I have spent a lot of money but am going to ET now and can't afford to pay any more. I am not covered by insurance and don't qulify for legal aid either. Does anyone have any experience of going alone? Thank you!

If you don't mind us asking Billie, what's your claim for? A straightforward claim (like failing to pay holiday pay, say) is probably easy enough to do yourself. Stuff like discrimination is much more technical and, I would say, very difficult.

I don't really have recommendations, but others might. They'd need to know where you live and roughly the value of your claim (i.e. your approx earnings and what your claim is for) to get a sense of who might be suitable.

Also, have you spoken to the CAB or ACAS to understand whether you have a good claim?

My friend has gone it alone and CAB said that the judges understand that you are representing yourself and they allow for this.
