Hi all,
I have posted here in the past but not a regular, but still would like your advice. I am a very experienced AP Manager and would like to say i know the job/role 99.9%. I am currently in a role that the department is being taken over by the middle east very shortly. I received a phone call today from a company that had been sent my cv and they have offered me a interview tommorow for a Management Accountant role. I have had a look at the job spec and can see that AP/SL is involved. KPI's, setting up new systems etc. This is something that i have been involved in my present and previous roles. They are only interviewing four people including myself but am wondering wether to phone them and point out that my strengths are Accounts Payable and not management accounting. I did do management accounts but it was 15 years ago and times have certainly moved on since then. Should i just phone and cancel interview and not waste thier time?
