I am currently signed off with WRS and I'm pregnant.
I have visited my GP before with WRS earlier this year and she suggested time off but I said I'd rather stay in work. Instead we agreed to a prescription of beta blockers. They help reduce blood pressure and keep you calm, reducing anxiety. I took them for three months and it meant I didn't need to take any time off as it helped me cope with the stress of the workplace.
The thing is, I can't take this medication now I'm pregnant. Just wondering... if my employer did take disciplinary action against me for time off, can I argue discrimination?
