Job Application Form

I applied for 2 jobs at my dream company. The next day they contacted me to say that I was more suited to one job than the other and that they would send me a job application in the post. I've never experienced this before, why would they send it in the post and not email as I did apply for the job online? Will the application lead to an interview? this was 3 days ago and I still have not received the application form. Could anyone help, I'm sure I'm over reacting but don't want to miss out on my application considering the job starts in 2 weeks!!!

I would call them and ask if they could e-mail the form over and see what they say.
