I was wondering if anyone could give some advice? My employer has recently put forward the bright idea of photos of our team being made available to clients. We have also been asked to write something personal about ourselves and our job role against said photo. I.e. ?Abmouse takes cares of 450 plus clients and likes drinking copious amount of gin and does taxidermy in her spare time.?
Now I don?t want my photo or any personal info to be online for the world and his wife to see ? I feel very uncomfortable about it. I hate having my photo taken and I also suffer from Rosacea so am also self conscious. Before you ask I do have a Facebook page but that?s only viewable to friends.
I don?t feel happy that we are forced to do this. (We have been told this is not optional) Is there anything I can do to stop this? What are the laws covering privacy?
I have been with this employer for 7 years.
