My DD is 16 and has her 1st group interview for a weekend job will be either serving customers in food or amusements at local park.

They are interviewing over 80 applicants for 30 jobs (in groups of 10)

She needs to make a 1 minute presentation speech about herself and why she would make a good employee. She's not very confident and wants me to help her think of what to say but im not sure what they want to hear.

What should she say? your help is appreciated,

She needs to focus on what she looks like as much, if not more than what she says.

Neat and tidy with something bright and quirky - a big colorful flower in her hair r something.

As for what to say...

I'll have a think...

Something about being good at customer care
Being a team player
Being punctual
Good at problem solving

Do she have any actual relevant experience she could refer to? Not a job obviously but has she done work experience somewhere similar - restaurant, shop, cinema? Has she ever taken part in a project at school/youth club/church which would show her to be a team player (or leader), good with people, reliable, etc? Anyone worth their salt will be claiming to be a team player, punctual, numerate etc but won't actually give an example to back it up. Has she ever had a paper round or done babysitting which shows she is already used to responsibility?
