Hello, I posted a little while ago letting off steam about how miserable I was about my boss' sexist comments towards me. On the back of this, I registered a grievance against my employer, had the grievance refuted after investigation. All of this was done with a good solicitor in the background. My employer, having not upheld the grievance, but of course giving me the opportunity to appeal, made it clear that a compromise agreement was on the table. I have agreed to this now, and after some shilly shallying, have accepted a settlement and agreed exit strategy from a comms perspective. I just wanted to say what a relief this is, it took some nerve to even launch into the grievance, and then the compromise agreement. A totally rubbish situation has kind of sorted itself out and I seem to have a great deal of time on my hands to look for a job/take care of my toddler. Also, curious, as I couldn't find a lot to go on (and trusted my solicitor), what the current 'standard' is for compromise settlements when there's a potential sex discrimination/constructive dismissal case knocking around? How many months is the norm, inc notice period? Thanks for reading
