Would I be informed if my DP rescinded the POA that has been put in place?

No, as long as they have mental capacity they can apply to revoke the power of attorney and it would be up to them to inform you.

Sorry I meant to say that they are actually meant to provide you with a copy of the revocation and ask you to return all of your copies of the LPA to them.
