I need to giggle. Help me.

You know you've been with > too long when ......

You know you're relieved when ......

I'll start....

You know you've been with your Dad who has dementia for too long when the Solicitor arrives to do paperwork and you try to guide them to the dining table by the arm, using a raised voice as you do it, explaining what you are doing....

You know you're grateful to see the carers arrive and put your Dad to bed when you run to the front door when they arrive, panic as you've locked the front door, and shout "don't leave, don't leave" as you run around looking for where you hid the house keys from your Dad so he couldn't escape the house.

You know you've done too many calls to SS etc when each time you speak to someone you start a conversation with. Hello. I am ChristmasLightLover, X's Daughter, his DOB is and his address is.... Before you even start to speak, because you know you can't get anywhere without uttering all that info.

You know you have been spending too much time buying incontinence pants for your Dad when you see some with a 'whoops' sticker and buy them in bulk in the local ASDA!

Can anyone else contribute? I need to smile!
