My son (7) is struggling with learning his times tables. He is very able in maths but finds memorizing time tables boring. He does, however, LOVE electronic gadgets. I am considering getting him either the hot dots or the quizmo and relevant cards/ books to motivate him to learn his times tables. Has anyone used either of these gadgets? Useful or a waste of money? Any opinions gratefully received!
