I'm a part time(10-1pm) TA and our school is open next week during Easter holidays. I'm working 2 full days and I was wondering do I claim the extra hours I work?
Thank you

You need to speak to your business manager or bursar.

I am part time admin but working on a rota which means on my “work” days I do a full day and this includes Easter Hols and any bank holidays my days fall on. However, I am still working less per week than my normal weekly hours so no extra pay or time off. I AM a higher proportion of my hours than full time Colleagues as our rota has as all working equally but this is an international crisis situation so I’m not going complain, apart from the occasional grumble on her and to my DH 😃

Have you been working the whole time the school has been closed or have you been at home? I think most schools are not paying their staff for coming in over Easter as they can’t afford to do it for everyone.

Only if you have worked beyond your 10-1 hours every day since this started should you claim really.
We have had staff on a rota system so no one should claim overtime as they haven’t been working their normal hours even when working from home.
