factual websites to help with year 3 homework?

dd has started getting factual tpye research homework (eg find out 3 interesting things about light) has anyone got any good recommendations for a 7 year old to look stuff like this up? cheers

thanks Liz - that looks great too. how on earth do they get the time/resources/energy to develop something like that?! although if my kids were at Woodlands I'd be a bit worried at how prominent Sats are on there. makes it look a bit like the aim of the site is to get good sats results - not learning and enjoyment. but definitely looks useful
