Has anyone experience of the Fire Break Courses for teens?

I have been offered a week's course for my son, but have never heard of it before.

I have googled it, but would like to know if anyone has sent their child on this week long course and if so, what the outcome/benefit was.

It is going to involve me driving more than 2 hours a day for 6 days and on two of those days it will be driving about 4 hours as it is an hour in one direction and I have commitments in the other direction, so I want to be sure it is useful for him (he is 14).
