relocating tips

we're relocating to within a 30 minute commute of ammersham. Our top priority is to live in the cathment area of a good primary school but we have no idea as to where to start looking for a house.
Can anyone suggest a way to find this out (league tables aside)? Or does anyone in the area have any suggestions?

One thing I have noticed is that estate agency details will include "in the catchment area for XXXX school" if it is known to be a sought after school.

Perhaps you could start looking at some houses on Rightmove in the areas you think you'd like to move to and see if any of the details mention school catchmnets.

\link{http://www.upmystreet.com/\Upmystreet} gives local area information and also the Bucks/Oxfordshire/
Herts LEAs should be able to provide you with a list of schools and entrance criteria including catchments where applicable. BBC website has links to league tables and Ofsted reports.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I have had a look at some of the estate agents websites, and that does seem like one good place to start.
Will check out upmystreet and rightmove next.
Thanks again.
