Always intended to send my children to church school of my faith however in reality was not overjoyed with the approach to learning at the particular school(although v.good results) and much to my surprise didn't do this. Children attend regular state school are v.happy but I can't help feeling does it really matter at Primary stage how children learn if results are good Is it more important to have a greater affinity and sense of belonging with the school community.

yes it totally matters how they learn at primary

primary level either fills them with the confidence and pleasure to learn or sets them against education ... the process is far more important than the end results IMHO

.. if you're religious you can give them their faith grounding at home .. I think you have totally made the right decision
