Bradfords school admissions

Hi guys, I am new to this site and would appreciate any comments, support or feedback on my thread. I have set up a petition for a change in how Bradford accepts application forms for school admissions. (the link to sign the petition is on //www.everychildmatters2011.co.uk) Bradford has one of the highest year on year increases in child population within the country. I am requesting that when an application for a school place is completed, It should be compulsary that a council tax bill and 1 other proof of address such as a utility bill should be given. This is not requested at the moment and yet this simple procedure will help stop the many fraudulent applications that Education Bradford have allowed to go through each year because they fail to check information thoroughly. The allocation and appeals process needs a major overhaul to allow all of our children a fair chance of been given a place at one of their chosen schools.
If you live in the BD postcode and agree with me you can sign this petition and you support would be grately received. Thanks

If you move into the area you have to provide proof whereas if you already lived here when you first submitted your application they don't require anything which is unfair for those children who dont get any of their preferred schools
