Hi I sold an outfit on ebay that I had worn but no longer fits. Described it fairly accutately in my opinion. Anyway was going to email the buyer to check she had received it ok and hope it fits etc when she had already sent me one stating that the oufit was not fit to give away and in bad condition!! She also said (without asking me first ) that she has retrurned it in the post tyhat same day,and expects a full refund including her return of postage(whatever the cost may be).
tbh I am a bit gobsmacked as I would still be wearing the outfit myself if it still fit. I also stated no returns although I will prob give her a refun but don't want to pay the postage twice.
Never had any bad dealings before and am unsure what to. All advice would be appreciated.

Just checked and I have left her positve feedback as she did pay promptly. If she leaves me negative feedback, can I add to my original response. Thanks

Dont think you have to refund the cost of her return postage. You dont have to refund at all if you described the outfit 100% accurately and she has just decided she doesnt like it. I suppose she could then raise a dispute and paypal would decide!

Thanks tryharder. I don't want to get negative feedback over it. Haven't replied to her message yet as am stiil a little unsure as to how to answer it, not that she posed it as a question, more an agressive demand.

Don't respond at all until youy get the item back. Then you can decide what to do from there. You do not have to refund the return postage.

Thanks Wriggle I think I will do what you have suggested. Then I will block her from bidding on any of my future auctions as I can do without the hassle.

Received the items back all screwed up and in ripped packaging!!!
She also sent email telling me to pay return postage costs or else she will leave neg feedback. Have been trying to contact ebay for advice. Anyway stuck to my guns offered full refund, but not return postage, sent her a nice email hoping she will find some goodness in her heart as opposed to the complete nastiness and bitchiness she has so far shown. Fingers crossed.

I don't hink she is allowed to threaten a negative if you don't pay postage. KEEP THE EMAIL WHERE SHE SAYS THAT.

If she does leave a negative you may be able to bring up the threat with ebay, although I have no real idea about whether they could cancel someones negative or not.

I know that ebay rules state quite clearly that the return postage is at the buyers expense.

Hi
Have given her full refund but not-on the strong advice of other ebayers- return postage which turns out she should stand plus she should have paid for recorded delivery, again at her own cost.
Am not responding to any of her messages now, the latest of which began with the words:
"I demand a full refund for X amount pay it now."
Charming individual. Strangely enough there is no name on the paypal account.
It has put me of ebay tbh.

You do need to report her to eBay. It's very intimidating, there's no need for her to behave this way.

Hi How do I report her?

also add her to your blocked bidder list so she can't buy anything again.

Email eBay. There's no need for such agression IMO.
