Given up on Ebay

That's it, I have given up on buying from Ebay. Just won an item, paid immediately and within seconds seller has cancelled order as being out of stock or damaged, amazing as a bag they owned and not new goods. I guess they didn't get enough for the item, but then why auction? The two items prior to this were supposedly both BNWT and one item was obviously worn to death and the other covered in marks. Yes, I got my money back, but not my postage for returning the items as they were not as advertised and Ebay are just not interested. I know there are good sellers and I have sold and bought for years, but no longer. Just having a whinge and waving bye bye to Ebay..

That's interesting, I find eBay much better than the local groups or marketplace on Facebook. It does piss you off when you have a run of bad experiences though, they seem to come in clusters.

When I have done refunds for buyers recently you refund the postage and the payment for the item? I didn’t see an option for not refunding the postage so you should have got it back I think.

I understand the frustration though, I am on the verge of giving up on it.
