Order addressed to the wrong person

My dad and I share the same address but both have separate eBay accounts with separate PayPal accounts.
I placed an order via the eBay app on my mobile and the purchase is showing in my order history and on my PayPal.
The order has just been delivered addressed to my dad, with his phone number, name and address on the enclosed packing note.
Luckily, I've got my order and there's no real harm done but can anyone
tell me how this has happened?
