What does this mean?

I bought a Urban Decay Naked palette last week, I was a bit doubtful due to price, which was down to damaged cardboard packing, but went ahead. I got it two days later and it looks ok.Today I got an email from eBay saying sellers account is suspended, if I haven't got it I could raise a case. This does mean seller is dodgy doesn't it?

Well you paid and received the item - but is it fake? Was my first thought!

Or could be selling something they're not supposed to - or not sending stuff -

Yes, sounds a bit dodgy, but not your problem, surely? You bought the stuff in good faith, and it's arrived OK. I wouldn't worry about it.

I'd say it's fake yes! If it is just open a not described case with eBay and you will get your money back.

How much did you pay? Rule of thumb with cosmetics on eBay is if the price is too good to be true then they're generally fake!

It's very likely to be fake especially if the price is low, although even a higher price doesn't mean that it's real. You can buy these palettes for a couple of pounds from China.
However if you're happy with it then keep it.

It might be a fake, if it is there could be issues with it being safe to use.

It might be something else entirely, seller may not have paid fees, they may have too many defects on their account.

I bought some Ecover dishwasher tablets once, and the seller was suspended for no apparent reason, the item arrived but the seller never came back. A shame because there was no problem that I could see. Cosmetics are always a bit hit and miss though, I made the mistake of buying an Almay (hypoallergenic) mascara which made my eyes very sore and irritated so would never do it again.

My DH got suspended because he was mistakenly identified as another seller, DH had done nothing wrong, it was a mix up at eBay, so there may be nothing wrong with the seller.

Well if it's a fake it's a damn good one, (I compared with the real thing ) none of the clues (btw the link is for the US version). The seller did say that they were for Europe, but seconds due to damage in transit-mainly cardboard packing damage, but could be to eye shadows, was luck of draw.
