Collection in person - eBay novice

I have only just started using eBay to sell and have sold a pushchair for £500. As it's so large I had specified collection only.

The buyer has paid by PayPal but I have heard of people doing this and then claiming not to have received the item after collection.

Could anyone advise what the best course of action is here if the buyer refuses cash on collection?

Thank you!

Refund the buyer and state cash on collection (or bank transfer) only, informing them that you cannot accept PayPal as it leaves you wide open to fraud.

If they refuse then cancel the sale.

Always, always cash on collection if buyer collects.

Just not worth the risk. I've had many people ask if they can collect, and you'll be surprised how many of them disappear into the ether when I say "yes, but cash on collection only please"
