I ve bought on eBay, but not sold.
I have some items I want to sell- clothes, bags etc.
I have them photographed - I was trying to upload them to eBay to sell via eBay app on phone but it wouldn't work.
This is probably a stupid questions ! Wouldn't work on iPad either - is there a step I m missing - do I need to register as a seperate seller to my initial eBay i d or something ?
My laptop is not working so I can't connect otherwise to it.
Thanks if you can help!

Sorry no idea how to answer your question but I'm also keen to sell on ebay and wondered how you calculate the p&p?

Sorry but the iPad and iPhone apps are rubbish for eBay! Great for making a quick purchase but poxy for selling. There isn't the same access to different categories etc and uploading photos seems to be unpredictable at best. I always revert back to the PC when it comes to selling

Thanks wolford. So I basically need to import my photos to laptop and upload from there - and need to get my laptop sorted first !! Kinda what I thought.

Not sure how to calculate p and p- I was planning on checking out dpd delivery charges and post office charges.

I use the eBay app for selling and find it ok - much easier than using the laptop.

I'm not sure why you are having problems with the mobile apps but it may be due to your not having sold before.

Try logging into eBay through Safari and see if you have more luck that way.

Cookies can sometimes cause glitches with ebay, try deleting cookies on the ipad and see if that helps.

You don't have to register separately as a seller, but check that your profile is up to date and has all the necessary info, including paypal details.

Re postage, just weigh the item and look on the Royal Mail site for the costs for the service you want to use. For lower value clothes, most people charge postage at cost, ie. £2.80 or £3.00 if you want to factor in an extra 20p for packaging, which is the actual cost of sending a smaller item as a Royal Mail 2nd class small package.

I do buy it now with free postage and best offer - and send with Hermes. £3 if under 1kg and free tracking. It's a no brainer.
